What is Barndance?

Barndance

This dance form is an example of a partnered dance. In barn dances a choreographed sequence is generally "called". There is no improvisation.

Barn dancing is as much a dance event as a dance form. Dancers often arranged in a square formation, follow the instructions of a caller who directs from the stage.
